Lobby Priorities

Our impact lies in the collaboration with our members.

Every day, we represent the interests of the sector with policymakers, public authorities, and social partners. Directly or indirectly, we have a seat at the table where the rules governing the sector are shaped: regulation, compliance, and social dialogue. For every Belgian clothing and fashion company. As an employers’ representative, we also negotiate and conclude the collective labour agreements for Joint Committees 109 and 215 every two years.

Temporary unemployment

In our sector, which is characterised by peaks and lows, temporary unemployment remains a crucial tool for combining flexibility with job retention.

Public procurement

We advocate for public procurement procedures in which Belgian SMEs can compete on a fair basis. Access to tenders should not be restricted by disproportionate requirements, but should provide room for expertise, innovation and entrepreneurship.
