The PPWR (Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation) is the new European packaging regulation that will be applicable from August 12, 2026 . It replaces the old directive and imposes uniform, stricter rules regarding prevention, reuse, recyclability, and recycled material, with the aim of making the entire packaging chain more sustainable.
